Returns & Refunds Policy
Important Notice
All artwork sales are final. Due to the handmade and artistic nature of my ceramic plates, returns and refunds are generally not accepted. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.
1. No-Refund Policy for Artwork
As an independent artist creating unique, handcrafted ceramic pieces, each plate is considered a work of art. For this reason, all sales are final and cannot be returned for refund under normal circumstances.
Why This Policy Exists:
- Each piece is individually handcrafted and unique
- Artwork cannot be resold as "new" once it leaves my studio
- Artistic variations are inherent and expected in handmade pieces
- Personal taste preferences are subjective
- This protects the integrity and value of the artwork
2. Limited Exceptions to No-Refund Policy
I will consider returns and refunds only in the following exceptional circumstances:
Shipping Damage:
- Item arrives broken or significantly damaged during shipping
- Must be reported within 24 hours of delivery
- Photos of damage and packaging required
- Original packaging must be retained
Significant Defects:
- Major structural defects that affect functionality
- Glaze defects that pose safety concerns
- Item significantly different from description
- Wrong item shipped (my error)
Non-Delivery:
- Package confirmed lost by shipping carrier
- Must allow full investigation period by carrier
- Replacement or refund at my discretion
3. What Is NOT Covered
The following situations do not qualify for returns or refunds:
Not Covered:
- Change of mind or buyer's remorse
- Color differences from computer/phone screens
- Minor variations inherent in handmade items
- Size expectations when dimensions are clearly listed
- Artistic style preferences or personal taste
- Gifts that the recipient doesn't like
- Damage after delivery (dropping, mishandling, etc.)
- Normal wear and tear from use
4. Shipping Liability & Protection
Important Shipping Terms
Title and risk of loss transfer to the buyer upon delivery to the shipping carrier. Once your package is picked up by the shipping company, I am not responsible for:
- Lost packages
- Stolen packages (porch piracy)
- Delivery delays
- Damage during transit (with insurance exceptions)
- Incorrect delivery addresses provided by customer
Shipping Protection Measures:
- All items carefully packaged with protective materials
- Insurance included for orders over $100
- Tracking information provided for all shipments
- Signature confirmation available upon request
- Photo documentation of packaging process
5. Return Process (When Applicable)
For the rare cases where returns are accepted, the following process must be followed:
Step 1: Contact

- Include order number and photos
- Describe the issue clearly
- Within 48 hours of delivery
Step 2: Approval
- Wait for return authorization
- Follow provided instructions
- Use approved shipping method
- Include all original packaging
6. Refund Processing
When a refund is approved (rare exceptions only):

- Processing time: 5-10 business days after item receipt
- Refund method: Original payment method only
- Shipping costs: Generally non-refundable
- Return shipping: Customer responsibility unless my error
- Condition: Item must be in original condition
